Situated in the semi-rural location of Wick, our aim is to provide a fun, safe setting in which children can learn through play. This provides children with a solid foundation upon which they can build their future successes.

We are now open from 7:45am until 6pm!

Our Staff

Our well trained and experienced staff are led by our long time manager Tia Harris. Most of our staff have children of their own and many have worked at Wick Pre-School for several years. Together the team at Wick Pre-School aim to provide a friendly, supportive, caring and stimulating environment for the children who attend.

We are registered and inspected by Ofsted. And as a member of the Pre-school Learning Alliance, we regularly review and update our skills and undertake relevant training.

We have a child : adult ratio of 4:1 for the 2 year olds and 8:1 for 3+ year olds.

Parental Involvement

We aim to involve the parents and carers of our children as much as possible and continually strive to ensure that we keep everyone up to date with everything we are doing at Pre-School.

We use the app “Famly” to post regular updates to all of our pre-school families, these updates include things such as: information on foods your child has eaten that day, nappy changes, photos and observations of activities we have undertaken. We also use this app send your invoices and communicate with you.

Your involvement in your child's education during their time with us is encouraged and we occasionally ask for you to send in a few photos from home for your child’s “Learning Journey” book, these are a great way to promote language and talking about home life with your child. We find that home pictures are a very useful tool and the children love being able to show their friends and teachers their pictures!
